Grants pass Oregon!

Alright, I'm sorry it took so very long for me to write another post. I put off writing anything while we were in Huntsville when we had internet, then we left for CA and I hardly had a chance to check my email much less write a blog post.
So right now me and my family are in Grants Pass Oregon visiting my Grandmother and whoever else we can while we are up here. We got here on Wednesday night and have just been hanging around mostly at my Grandma's house and doing some stuff around town.
Yesterday afternoon we went to see (and feed) some lamas, and then to see some extended family. We went back to the house for a bit then left for church in Applegate. The service was great and we stayed after in the coffee shop and hung out.
This morning we went to the Grants Pass Christian church. My Dad shared a little at both services and did a song. At the first service I played the guitar with him some too. The study was good and we got to meet/see a lot of people. After church we headed on back to the house and had some lunch and that pretty much brings me to where I am now.
Well I hope I can write another post soon... hopefully a little more creative. :D Thanks for reading my blog and suffering my bad writing. I will try more on detail!

South Carolina!

Hey guys. Well I'm sitting here at my Aunt and Uncle's house in SC. I got up about an hour ago, checked my internet things and Ate breakfast. The trip over seas went well, most or all our planes were on time and the airline only lost one of our bags which was returned to us the next day. I am very happy to inform you that my shoes (and all the shoes of my family) have been de-yuckafied. Customs was nice enough to do that for us. So now returning from Romania I have no diseases. You can rest assured knowing their biodegradable disinfectant disinfected our shoes properly. We were met at the airport by my Aunt and Uncle and they drove us back to their house. Since then we have just been hanging out and going to Biglots, Goodwill, and Walmart. ;) (Oh and I got to see my uncle at his job [pretty cool!]). Today we get to meet our Uncle's family and hang out with them. Friday morning we leave here and are off to my Aunt's in Florida, then on to Cliff and Rahela! Well I need to give my Dad his computer back, I will keep you updated... ByE! ☺

Hanging In

Today is my family's last day in Romania, Cristi is next to me helping me with this post. "Yeah right!"-(Cristi).
Ok... anyway, we are just hanging around, and getting ready for the trip. I'm pretty much "packed." Its pretty cool there have been quite a few guests at our house and it's been fun seeing them before we leave. All the people at our house right now are Amalia, Brandusa, Laurentiu, and their baby Natanael, Matt and Petra, (they were planning to have their wedding today but it didn't work out because of paperwork problems). Amalia came from Italy for Petra and Matt's wedding, and is also getting some of her own paperwork done so that she can marry Giuseppe (an Italian guy).
Brandusa and Laurentiu got married in November of 2007 and now have a 6 month old baby boy. It's been cool to catch up with all these guys.
Right now we are going over to the church to practice worship songs for tomorrow so I need to get going also. I will try to write a post in the airport or when we get to my Aunt and Uncle's house. Thanks for reading as always. God bless you guys.

Wow, I am lazy!

Its been a while since my last post, and I really don't have a good reason why. I had plenty of things to write about, I had plenty of chances to get on here and still I didn't write anything. I'm just lazy... Hmm... is it alright if I talk about what I was thinking of writing last weekend? I guess thats a yes. Alright, Saturday ( 27th of june) started out pretty slowly at our house. Because of the long day before we all slept in a little later than usual. When we all finally got up we had Bible time then did our own things for a bit before leaving for the church building to pick cherries. After picking for a while some other people from our church came to pick some too. They had to leave and we kept picking until our containers were pretty much full. Back to the house with all the goods then the pitting marathon started! We kept pitting and pitting for a pretty long time, and went through quite a lot of cherries but never got through them all. We ended up making syrup out of the rest of them.
Mom and Sharon pitting away

Sunday was pretty normal for us, church in Ciorani (the town we live in) then church in Valenii (a city in the mountains). Church went well at both, in Ciorani I went to the study in Valenii I helped as usual with the kids. On the way back from Valenii church we stopped by a village to drop off a kid that came with us. We also got to see Brendusia and Laurensu with their baby, Natanael. It was fun to see them.

When we got back home we found the front door once again chewed by our pregnant dog (there was another thunder storm while we were gone).

Unfortunately, it was not the last thunderstorm of the day. That night there was another, which was much more violent than the last. Hobo when insane.

The last two photos are of what remained of Hobo's dog house after the storm. She was so muddy that mom and sharon washed her cause she didn't want Hobo to have the puppies in that dirty condition. But Hobo still hasn't had them and its the 5th so I'm thinking she could have them any time. Tomorrow we leave for the beach and won't be back till probably about Saturday and after we get back I will try to write a post. My parents will be back any time so I should get going, we still have to load the van and get things ready. Thanks for reading this far into the post! :) See ya

Wednesday... a little late

Wednesday we went into Bucharest (the capital of Romania) for a doctor checkup. We arrived at the clinic at 9:35 Am and short after went to be checked. They finished with me and Jonny at 10:35 Am. While waiting in the lobby for the rest of our family to get done we heard some screaming in one of the rooms, apparently some kids were getting shots... they came out later with Band-Aids on their arms. We found some amusement in the screaming though... Finally we left at about 1:00 PM the result was: we are fine! After leaving the clinic we headed over to Ikea for lunch. As we walked in the cafeteria I thought I saw someone I knew from Calvary Buc. and couldn't decide if it was them or not. I just stared until they noticed me and sure enough it was them! My parents talked to them for a while about Petra's wedding in July and things pertaining to that. They had to get back to the to the foundation for church and we had do to some shopping and try to get back for part of Wednesday night church too so we left for Carefour then the Metro to get some food and other odds and ends. Diving home it was pretty hot inside our blue tin can on wheels (the van), and we were happy to get out when we reached the Church Building in Ciorani. We got to the church right as Melissa was finishing worship time so it worked out pretty well. I helped Melissa with children's church which for me was holding a toddler that wanted to go to her grandma and trying to entertain her. Well its getting pretty late here so I should be getting to bed. Have a great rest of your weekend guys, and as always thanks for reading!

School, Dogs, and whatnot

Today I got motivated to finish the rest of my school up, and I could see it ending soon if I kick in gear. A lot of you may be done with this year of school already, that may be because you go to public school, are not a missionary... or are way more motivated than me (which is probably the case). Being a missionary usually means (if you do school) losing some days or even weeks of school, so now I'm am just filling in what i didn't finish of this year. I counted it up and this is approximately what I have left: 17 hours of math and 49 hours of science, the rest it done! Thunderstorms have been coming our way the last couple of weeks. Now I don't hate thunderstorms in fact, sometimes I think they are rather cool. Unfortunately our dog does not think they are cool at all, she hates them (and any loud bang for that matter). She goes crazy and has to be tied up. Also she makes a loud racket and when the storm stays for a while the noise drives me crazy, hopefully she will get over it! Today nothing extraordinary happened today, school, Melissa was over helping for part of the day. For lunch Cristi and Dad came over from working on the new outhouse (I think) at the church building. They left after lunch to go back to work and we went back to school. Well thats pretty much all for this post, thanks a lot for reading my blog!!! Check for updates soon!

My First Post!

This is my new blog that I will be updating with random or not so random stories from my life, videos, or photos. Currently I live in Romania with my missionary family, we have been in Romania for about 13 years. I will make this first post short, and will hopefully post something soon. Thanks for taking the time to read my blog guys!
